Don’t miss the new Hoosier Motorcycle Hall of Fame sponsored by River Road!
The Hoosier State is home to a rich and varied motorcycle history. This year we are featuring a collection of many one-of-a-kind historic motorcycle related memorabilia that have direct connections to Indiana. From the very early days signified by the 1910 Kokomo Manufacturers Motorcycle, which was only made from 1910 through 1912 through the early days of Board Track and Dirt track racing this collection is sure to amaze you. Many of these pieces are on loan from private collections who themselves have a direct connection to the industry “back in the day”. Racing trophies, driver’s suites and leather helmets will be displayed along with bikes, and you won’t want to miss Pop Dreyer’s 1909 Indian along with the jersey, goggles and helmet! Also included is an extensive display of photographs. The collection will include items from the very early year’s right through more current times. Experts will be on hand to share their knowledge and stories of the golden age of motorcycling. These items can only be seen at the Indiana Motorcycle Expo. There is so much to see at this exhibit, you won’t want to miss it!
If you have an item that you think should be included in this historical collection of motorcycle memorabilia, contact Pete Miller at firstname.lastname@example.org with the details.
The Indiana Motorcycle Expo would like to thank River Road for their cooperation in bringing this historic display to the Expo.
