Patricia Black has held the position of Executive Director for the Marquette County Convention & Visitors Bureau for the past twelve years. In this position, she is directly responsible for the tourism marketing for this Upper Peninsula of Michigan county, which is situated directly on the shores of Lake Superior. Prior to this position, Ms. Black spent twenty years as a sales and marketing person for several major hotel chains including Holiday Inns, Ramada Inn, and Best Westerns. Ms. Black’s sales and marketing experience also included a three year position with the historic Landmark Inn, located in Marquette, MI and listed in the Historic Hotels of America. Pat and her husband live on the shores of Lake Superior in Marquette and enjoy riding the roads of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on their Harley Fat Boy.
